'League of Legends' is currently the most popular game in the MOBA genre, which consists of two groups of five players who each choose a hero and fight for the destruction of the enemy base. E-Sports Cluj is delighted to organize a League of Legends tournament for the first time, which will take place in the Peninsula / Felsziget Festival using the following rules.
The tournament has the following phases:
14th of July: Sign-ups
- Sign-ups are available till Sunday, July 14, 23:00;
July 16: The online phase
- To get to the festival championship, players must first enroll using the form below, and will play in the online stage.
- Players will be placed in brackets, and will have to make it to the top 4 teams.
- Games are held in a single elimination format.
19th : Semifinals
- The four teams who pass the online stage will present themselves at the festival, where they will receive tickets for this day of the festival.
- The semi-finals will take place in a Best of 3 format.
- The finalists will be determined
July 20: Finals
- Finalists receive tickets for this day of the festival.
- The finals will take place in a Best of 5 format
- The championship winners will be determined
- Winners will receive tickets for the final day of the festival as well
Prizes are offered by the sponsor of the event: 'PC madd'.
ATTENTION:
- Sign up rules are the same as the Peninsula / Felsziget festival participation rules, and can be found at this link.
- Failiure to show up in time will disqualify the team from the tournament.
- To advance to the semifinals, players will have to send us their CNPs, the prizes will be nominal.
For the on-location events, we recommend that players bring their own peripherals (mouse, keyboard, headphones), because the ones we make available are standard equipment, not designed for gaming.
